Self-Care: Mind, Body, & Soul

This is such an important topic for me. You HAVE to, MUST take care of yourself. You must recharge yourself. If you are constantly taking care of others, you’ll run out of battery fast. Like the good old saying of “you must put your oxygen mask on before you can help others” ole thing. Ya know. Something along those lines. You get it.

Anyways, theses are all connected and are all so crucial it’s hard to rank them in terms of which one is most important. Without a strong body, you can’t possibly take care of your mind. Without a strong mind you can’t possibly take care of your body. And without the mind and body, how can you feed your soul?

So I’ve compiled a list of things to do for each. Most of them are dual purposed. Take a screenshot if needed and reflect on these daily. What do you do most? What do you need more of?

  • Take a walk
  • Brian dump – write everything you’re feeling down in 5 minutes (I like to type it in my notes on my phone)
  • Gratitude list
  • Unplug from social media
  • Do a puzzle
  • Listen to music
  • Watch a sunrise/sunset
  • Cook for yourself or your family
  • Get a massage
  • Sleep in
  • Go to bed early
  • Use a diffuser with essential oils
  • Color
  • Meditate
  • Meditate
  • Declutter
  • Take a hot bath
  • Read a good book
  • Call a friend
  • Get your hail/nails done
  • Splurge on yourself A LITTLE
  • Take a vacation
  • Spend time with your pets
  • Volunteer

Just the smallest things that sometimes you don’t even think about can make a huge difference. I know that my favorite things on this list are taking a hot bath and getting to bed early!

What are some more ideas!? Open to suggestion.
